We provide our members with opportunities to interact with their peers and other leaders in the semiconductor, embedded systems, cyber security and robotic industries. From training programs and short courses to industry-related meetings, conferences and expos, TTC membership is the hub where expert minds meet, share insights and best practices, and bring profound new technologies to life.
Member companies also gain direct access to researchers, technical consultants and bright students at the University of Pittsburgh, the Pennsylvania State University, Carnegie Mellon University and Lehigh University — experts they can utilize in future product development efforts. TTC also connects members to academic research activities that are relevant to their business interests and to a growing talent pool of engineers.
Building a strong industry network has lead to developmental collaboration amongst TTC members. For example, by combining complementary expertise, members firms can quickly explore, demonstrate and test a project concept on a small scale by producing a few early prototypes. Sampling future technology directions in this collaborative way lowers each firm’s risk as it enters its own more focused product development phase.
